Fortunate Friends

My dear friend, Kari, and I had this great idea: I take their family pics, and her husband Rhys (who is a great photographer, and has been a huge help to me) would take ours! Here are some of the shots from my turn behind the camera...

As I edited these photos, I just kept saying to myself, "My gosh these are gorgeous children!" (Their folks aren't too bad looking either!)

Winter Wonderland

A fresh snowfall offered a beautiful backdrop for some family photos, featuring the most darling little girl, Mira. She was a happy model, in spite of Jack Frost nipping at her cute little nose!

Jeff and Amanda

This "job" was particularly special, as I was able to capture the wedding of my little sister, Amanda. The wedding was in Tulum, Mexico, and it was a spectacular location! Congrats sis!

Seriously Cute!

Mom and Dad were anxious to capture their little girl's toothless grin, but Gabrielle was feeling pretty serious. Or should I say, seriously pretty! Even though she wasn't hamming it up for the camera, we got some pretty great shots. Enjoy!

Olive

Welcome to the world, Olive! Mom, Dad, and Grandma all helped soothe a camera shy Olive at her first photo shoot. (First outside the womb that is!) She was a delight to shoot, and what a beauty!

My first shoot!

This Mommy-to-be was my first pregnancy shoot. She was so beautiful at one day post due date! Her wonderful taste in decor made for some gorgeous background colors. It was fun and I learned so much.
