New Record!

I met this family the day after Christmas for what is my largest group to date!  They were all great sports, as we clicked away for almost 2 hours on a December day!  Luckily the weather was pretty mild, not that we all weren't craving a nice hot cocoa post shoot!  Really fun group, I enjoyed each and every of you guys!!  Here's a few of my favorites so far!

Brother to be!

This little guy is going to be a big brother before too long, and if his disposition at our shoot was any indication, a wonderful big brother he'll be. : )

Ouch!

This little guy broke his leg a couple of days before our shoot. Poor little dude! He managed to remain adorable though. Just like his big sister. They were a real kick in the pants! (I had their Mom kick me in the butt to get them both to smile. It worked. Oh the tricks I use....)

Friends-o-mine...

Don't get me wrong, I like to think that every client leaves their shoot as my friend. These are just some folks where the cart came before the horse. Some of my friends over this year...

Home Sweet Home

We did this shoot at the home of this clan, as the family pets were part of the program, as well they should be! I love the puppy love, and those big beautiful brown eyes! Wow! Gorgeous.

New to the crew...

One of my favorite families has grown by one handsome face since I photographed them last year. What a beautiful brood!

Inger G goes Commercial!

A local boutique, Tula, contacted me about doing a commercial shoot for them, and with a little (okay, a LOT) of help from another local photographer, Katie Jenkins, we had our first shoot for them this afternoon. I took this shot, and the owner selected it for their ad in our local paper this weekend. You know what that means, my first tear sheet!

Growing up fast!!

The last time I saw this family, 3/5ths of them were a lot shorter! It is always exciting to have repeat customers, and see the changes in the kids from the last time. We had a great little stroll through Old Town, and got some great shots of this fun family. Here are a few of my favorites...

Peak Season!

Fall means busy photo season!!! It's no mystery why, just look at these gorgeous fall colors. I can't think of a better backdrop for adorable strawberry curls! I hope this color holds out for a few more weeks, I just can't get enough of it. Beautiful family, even doggie Tucker was a very good model. All I had to do was hold his chuck-it and tennis ball over my head while I shot! Fun Shoot, beautiful day.

Too Cute!

I love capturing the moments when families eyes are locked on each other. Those are always the most powerful photos. Here are a couple examples of that from my current subjects. I managed to get a couple of more traditional family poses as well, but wanted to share these for a new perspective on the family photo.

Generations

We took these photos awhile ago, taking advantage of a visit from Nana and the flower gardens in full bloom. Beautiful family!

Dynamic Duo

We started out a little shy on this shoot, but everyone managed to come out of their shells soon enough! It was great seeing how much these siblings have grown and changed since our last shoot.

Down by the River

I don't like to toot my own horn, but... do you hear that honking??? I'm so proud of these shots!! Of course, it doesn't hurt to have great subjects to work with. Can't you feel the Mama-Son love??

The difference a year makes...

I had the pleasure of shooting this family last year, and it is so fun to see how much this adorable little girl has changed in a year.
