Three-peats are a special treat!

I realized at this photo shoot, that this marks the third year I have photographed them.  They were among some of my first clients, and I'm so thankful to have had the opportunity to photograph them three years in a row now!   Looking back at those shoots offers yet another reminder of how quickly our kiddos grow and change.  Thanks to all of my clients who come back for more.  It's the best compliment I could ever receive!

Well Hello There!

Beautiful Baby Boy!   I'm embarrassed to admit, I got a little misty-eyed looking back at the pictures from today's shoot.  Both because I find the images so moving, and also because it takes me back to bringing my baby boy home from the hospital 5 and a half years ago.  I'm going to be a mess on the first day of Kindergarten at this rate!!  Such a lucky boy to arrive into such a nice family!  It's going to be a fun ride for all, I can feel it!

Disclaimer.  I did NOT enhance these kiddos blue eyes in Photoshop.  They can credit genetics for that one.   Lot's of adventure on today's photo shoot.  We had a stray dog follow us around and shake pond water on us for the first half of the shoot.  Then we captured some magic...

Growing Up!

I did a newborn shoot for this kiddo just over a year ago.  It's easy to forget how much change happens in that first year of life, and big sister is maturing into such a beauty!  Gorgeous kids, I always get giddy when their Mom calls for pics.  ; )

Piano Dude Jr.

I love this photo.  I try not to toot my own horn very often, but... "Toot!"  I love the composition of this photo, the subject (obviously!) and the piano is of special significance to the client, making it all the more personal to them.  A trifecta!  

P.S.  For those friends and clients concerned that I may quit doing photography due to accepting a new job in marketing, have no fear.  I'm hooked.  (I would advise getting on the calendar though, as I have to limit the number of shoots I take on these days!)

This one makes me feel old.  This Mommy-to-be has grown up before my eyes.  Can't wait to meet her little one!
